On their first full-length album Välkommen till (Welcome To), FLEN move further down the many paths chord-less jazz provides. The album consists of original compositions by the band members, while also featuring the renowned Swedish saxophonist Per ‘Texas’ Johansson, who contributes to the album both as a musician and composer.

This is the debut-EP of inter-scandinavian chordless quartet FLEN. The album is inspired by New York jazz, European free jazz and the quartets of Ornette Coleman and Gerry Mulligan in the fifties. It differentiates itself from many jazz albums through an unusually airy soundscape, a result of the chordless constellation. The band offers a blend of both open and through-composed tunes written by the horn section, Marius Zeeberg and Andreas Lundblom.
